I am delighted to welcome you to Archbishop Tenison’s School, a school with great history reaching back to 1685 that continues to be at the heart of its local community.
We are a small school and this means that we can offer the very best in pastoral and academic support. Alongside our academic success, we are committed to ensuring that all our students leave us as independent, successful, skilled and motivated young adults, fully prepared for life in the modern world.
At ATS, we are proud to be a Centre of Excellence for Inclusion, enabling us to support each and every student to their next steps. Our commitment is to provide all our young people with the best educational experience irrespective of starting points. We are relentless in ensuring that there are no gaps in our attainment and that no student is left behind. Our focus is to enable them to understand that education is key in our changing world of work, and we teach that our core values of Justice Mercy and Humility are essential values for all successful relationships.
We are determined to follow through our vision, and are committed to opening our doors to our local community. We are also looking to support our local primary schools and community centres to ensure ATS is serves every member of its local area in every way possible.
We have recently joined a community of like-minded schools in the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi Academy Trust, which will allow us to benefit from shared resources, boost our leadership capacity and access innovative teaching methods.
If you want to find out more about the exciting times ahead for ATS, please contact us to arrange a visit our school in the near future.
