Archbishop Tenison's is a Church of England, Voluntary-Aided School with Specialist Arts College status.

Founded over 300 years ago by Thomas Tenison, Archbishop of Canterbury, the School has continued to provide a high quality education for boys aged 11 - 19, with girls admitted in the Sixth Form. As a centre for learning, academic success takes place within a stimulating and happy environment, which encourages full development of abilities, personality and talents.
