On Monday 6th September, school will be open as normal. After a staggered start the whole school will be back in all lessons from first thing Monday as usual.
All parents and carers should have received a letter and a copy of the school magazine , "Tenison Times" in the post , during the summer holidays. The information sent is of key importance and includes guidelines on our expectations of students.
Please contact Mr Bromfield if you have not received this at bromfield.d1@ats.lambeth.sch.uk
The KS3 Secondary Geography Quality Mark Award Autumn Award 2010
In recognition of excellence in teaching and learning in geography
All the award winners underwent a rigorous moderation process during July, and the team of assessors were hugely impressed by the manner in which all are embracing the new opportunities afforded by the curriculum changes at KS3. The SGQM, sponsored by the Action Plan for Geography and the DfE, is now in its fourth year and reflects the national standard for the teaching of quality geography. It aims to promote effective subject leadership and management so helping subject leaders raise the standards of geography in their schools.
Well done to Ms Emmett and Mr Gyves in our Geography department !
